VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT
United Way Delhi organizes multiple campaigns and drives to engage the volunteers of corporate organizations into advancing the common good for the society. We believe that the combined efforts of people can do extraordinary good for the communities in need.

Over 70 Volunteers from Genpact along with United Way Delhi’s staff marked their contribution in making the walls of government school in Suncity, Gurgaon, colorful for the students.
They painted the walls of school under the themes of sports and learning, with a motive of increasing the enrolment and admission rate in the school.

Under the theme of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, United Way Delhi organized a clean up drive for the volunteers of Genpact at Government Primary School in Suncity, Gurgaon. Over 35 volunteers from Genpact along with United Way Delhi’s staff participated in the same with an aim to make the school cleaner and healthier for the children.

A paper bag making drive for the volunteers of Genpact was organized by United Way Delhi. Local vendors were identified and provided with an alternative of paper bags to their regular plastic bags. The volunteers created the bio-degradable paper bags and made an appeal to the local vendors to use them instead of the plastic ones.

United Way Delhi mobilized over 400 volunteers for HUL’s Plastic Banega Fantastic movement at Yamuna Ghat, Kalindi Kunj and ITO.
The volunteers collected the plastic waste out of Yamuna. The initiative used the plastic waste to create recycled objects like school furniture and spectacles.
