United Way Delhi organizes multiple campaigns and drives to engage the volunteers of corporate organizations into advancing the common good for the society. We believe that the combined efforts of people can do extraordinary good for the communities in need.

FEATURED EVENTS
SPORTS FOR CHANGE

On the International Day of Sports for Development and Peace, HCL Foundation in partnership with United Way Delhi, had volunteers paint the boundary wall of Itteda Upper Primary School’s sports complex under its flagship project “Sports for Change”.

WASH KITS DRIVE

United Way Delhi, as a proud partner, steered with Genpact to package over 10,000 hygiene kits to be distributed across India.

Made from recycled newspaper, the drive not only raises awareness about personal hygiene but also instills a spirit of reducing waste within the volunteers.

CLEAN UP DRIVE

A massive spot cleaning drive was organized for volunteers of Bosch pan India by various United Way Chapters including United Way Delhi.

The cleanliness drive was held at the Walled City, Fatehpuri to Lahori Gate. The drive was organized under the theme of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.

SUNCITY- WALL PAINTING

Over 70 Volunteers from Genpact along with United Way Delhi’s staff marked their contribution in making the walls of government school in Suncity, Gurgaon, colorful for the students.

They painted the walls of school under the themes of sports and learning, with a motive of increasing the enrolment and admission rate in the school.

SUNCITY- CLEAN UP DRIVE

Under the theme of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, United Way Delhi organized a clean up drive for the volunteers of Genpact at Government Primary School in Suncity, Gurgaon. Over 35 volunteers from Genpact along with United Way Delhi’s staff participated in the same with an aim to make the school cleaner and healthier for the children.

PAPER BAG MAKING

A paper bag making drive for the volunteers of Genpact was organized by United Way Delhi. Local vendors were identified and provided with an alternative of paper bags to their regular plastic bags. The volunteers created the bio-degradable paper bags and made an appeal to the local vendors to use them instead of the plastic ones.

PLASTIC BANEGA FANTASTIC

United Way Delhi mobilized over 400 volunteers for HUL’s Plastic Banega Fantastic movement at Yamuna Ghat, Kalindi Kunj and ITO.

The volunteers collected the plastic waste out of Yamuna. The initiative used the plastic waste to create recycled objects like school furniture and spectacles.
