Innovate Your Schools /Anganwadis Competition

The CoVID 19 Pandemic has affected us all. For more than one year now, classrooms had to go virtual, disrupting the routine teacher-student classroom interaction both in the schools as well as the Anganwadis.

Now that schools are beginning to resume, towards exploring innovative solutions for making the classrooms and Anganwadis more engaging for students. United Way Delhi with support from Corporate Partner Genpact under the School Centred Community Development Program is inviting teachers/Angwandi workers to apply for the Innovate Your Classroom/Anganwadis Competition

The teachers are invited to come up with ideas to make their class more engaging and apply on the UWD portal

Post Shortlisting, Top 9 Teacher Participants will be given chance to present their ideas in front of Jury

Jury from United way Delhi, Genpact and Govt. department will select top 3 winners from each subject and AW.

Categories:

  1. Anganwadi
    All Anganwadi Workers are eligible to apply
  2. Primary (1st – 5th)
    Subject Teachers – English, Maths, Science from government schools across Delhi
  3. Upper Primary (6th – 8th)
    Subject Teachers – English, Maths, Science from government schools across Delhi

Winning Ideas to receive educational resources/material
Up to INR 1 Lakh/subject for Schools and up to INR 75,000/AW to facilitate innovative classroom engagement

Evaluation Criteria
A panel of judges would evaluate entries based on the following criteria:

Innovation : Teachers to brainstorm and come up with something innovative and creative to make the classroom learning process (Both Virtual as well as physical) more engaging for the students to exhibit positive learning attitude

Practicality in implementation: The ideas have to be cost-effective and must be easy to implement practically

Impact and Scalability: Ideas are to be impact oriented and potential to be scaled to other geographies etc.,
